Zakiyah Williams, MPH, IBCLC, is the Lactation Services Manager at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital-Stanford in Palo Alto, CA and is a member of the our site Medical Advisory Board. She is the founder of A to Z Lactation and Perinatal Services.

She received her BA in psychology from Mount Saint Mary College and her Master's in Public Health, with an emphasis in maternal and child health, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Throughout her career, Zakiyah has focused on maternal and child health topics ranging from preconception and reproductive health, family planning and teen pregnancy prevention, and currently lactation. The cornerstone of her work has been rooted in advancing health equity. She currently serves as a member of the CRASH Committee for the United States Breastfeeding Committee (USBC).

She lives in the Bay Area, CA with her loving dog, Calliope.
